Clinical Philosophy & Credentials
I started my clinical career as a Registered Behavior Technician working with kids with autism, learning the science of behavior from the ground up. After earning my master's in professional counseling from Amberton University, I spent more than three years at Eating Recovery Center as a program and primary therapist treating adults and adolescents with severe eating disorders, many of whom also had co-occurring OCD. I became the program's OCD specialist there, which is where ERP became the foundation of my clinical work.

Since then I've pursued specialized training rather than general practice, including the IOCDF's Behavioral Training Institute (BTTI) and NOCD Academy, and I've provided ERP-based telehealth treatment through NOCD. I founded Azimuth to take that further: a private practice built to make expert OCD care accessible and covered by insurance, so cost doesn't stand between someone and the treatment that actually works.

I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Military Institute, where I learned that meaningful goals require sustained effort. That lesson shows up constantly in the work of ERP.
